Can anyone help me with posting pictures? I keep getting a message that the picture is too big!
How can I reduce the size so I can post a picture? ( or compress the picture, to be technically corect!!)....Chip

If you're using a digital camera, the software that came with it probably has a resizing application. But the free resizing websites work just as well.

If you are using Windows...
1. Open Paint program..comes with windows
2. Located your picture file and open...File>Open
3. Click on Image tab, the go to Re-size...Image>Re-size
4. Re-size by changing default settings (100%) to 25% for both horizontal and vertical
5 Save picture

This will normally work, you may need to lower re-size % if you have a large picture file.

Good Luck!

The easiest way by far is using "picture resizer" from Microsoft. As usual there are many other ways, just more cumbersome than needed.
