It does have a bunch of goodies! What do you suppose the plug to the right of the mag post is for?
Here's the HUDCO transmission cover I posted under Accessory Of The Day.

That cooling fan looks like i came off a jet turbine!
Henry - it's for easier cleaning of the oil pipe.
Some truck driver in upstate New York loved accessories in the 20's
It's listed as a 1920, but I'm not so sure. The two things that make me suspect it's a later model are the steel firewall and the fact that it appears to have the longer rear chassis crossmember, which I think came out a little later. Could I be correct, or am I all wet? Also interesting is the fact that it has a starter and a generator, but no battery box.
Lot's of neat stuff. I wish I had some "spare" money to play with. I'd sure bid on it. The starting bid of $2,000 looked high for a TT chassis, but there are a lot of things on it that would probably cost more individually. (I have no connection to the seller, just making an observation.)
The plug next to the Mag post was also for adding oil.
Bob
Bob, The plug on the Hudco cover is positioned over the oil tube funnel so you could easily clean out the tube without removing the cover.
Ed,
If this was on the west coast I would be bidding. I know just the body I want to put on that TT... an updated version of my Mountain wagon... to seat 12 adults!
Aren't truckers today as fond of gadgets and accesories today?
What was the deal of that cylinderhead? It just looked to me like another flathead? Higher compression?
If one was in the market for a nice truck, here is a nice startingpoint I would say.
