Does anybody have the front wheel bearing numbers handy? I would like to buy them locally, but I can't seem to find a part number anywhere....(for a 1923 chassis). if someone has the bearing numbers for inners and outers, that would be a big help.
Thanks!
Here they are, from an earlier thread: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/29/41107.html?1196521704
"Timken Bearing part numbers for model t front wheels
inner race 14273
outer race 09194
inner bearing 14120
Left outside bearing 09075
Right outside bearing 09076
seals 17617

It's unlikely you can find them cheaper locally than from the specialized Model T vendors - the threaded outer bearings are expensive everywhere.
Lang's has cheaper replacement outer bearings with insert threads. Should work just as fine & saves quite a few $$. http://www.modeltford.com/item/2837-38R.aspx
Thanks Roger. I get a discount with our local auto parts supplier, so I figured I try them first.
Thanks again for the numbers - they are exaclty what I needed!
Lang's inserted outer bearings work fine, but they are harder to adjust.
