While you probably could have purchased this for any car, they seem to be more at home on larger brass era cars due to their size. It's a good item...maybe better it if had a Stewart clock.

I have seen several of these on ebay and was going to buy one for my '26 until a little research indicated they were for very early brass era Model T's. They look fantastic, when highly polished like the ones I saw on ebay. Jim Patrick

I bought a total of about ten of those clocks on e-bay and elsewhere. None were brass. All had potmetal rims. I never got enough parts to make one good clock. The best way out of a bad situation was to put all of them in the trash and forget about a clock.

Arnold Levin often has one of those fancy Stewart combos on tbay for about $1K.

This brass clock had a broken gear, so I gutted it and put in a motor and repro hands. Have to change the battery about twice a year.

Yeh, that's how the pavement looks at 67 mph...

Ricks, Arnold Levin has had the same items listed over and over for unobtanium reserve prices on ebay for the last TEN YEARS. Why anyone would bid on any of it is beyond me since none of it ever meets reserve. I can tell his stuff just by the photo and pass it on by since I know it's pointless bidding on any of his stuff that will never meet reserve. He's probably paid Ebay what that combo clock is worth in listing fee's over the last 8 years he's been pimping it on ebay. He should probably stick to selling beanie babies instead of Model T Stuff!!!!!

Some of the stuff Arnold Levin has for sale now I saw listed in the Hemming`s ads He ran back when I first bought a copy of Hemming`s . We`re talking 1972 , or so . He IS consistent , though . His parts were too expensive then , and they`re still too much . He raises prices faster than the economy`s inflationary bubble !!

Arnold Levin has several ebaY identities. One is musical99. I don't bother bidding on any of his items because they always have too high of a reserve.

Richard, Glad to oblige!!!

Doug, I must say I got a good chuckle from your comment. I guess the story has deeper roots then I thought.

There was one of the clock-speedometer combinations on the 1910 Buick Roadster Model 16 at the Homer Edmison's auction. I saw it and thought of the one mentioned above that is always on ebay.
I remember writing Mr. Levin about 25 years ago about some side lights and feeling out of my league with the price asked then.

I did buy a Stewart clock off ebay recently. Cost me $150, and will pair it with my Stewart Model 26 speedo. The bracket is about 165$, though.

Have had other Stewart speedos - earlier Model 26 examples, and later MOdel C 100's.

If you are patient enough, you can find what you want at the price you are willing to pay. Not Levin's prices, though. Hope he has lots of family, 'cos someone is going to inherit all of it.
