Finally had to bite the bullet, pulled the pan two weeks ago and took them up (think they have always been to loose from the rebuild long long ago).

Got a chance this afternoon to take her out, she was really stiff cranking but once running smoothed out and running great. Wow the wife will be able to hear me without yelling next time she's riding along.
