Some old T charts were found rolled up in the T stuff. My father framed the charts, for my birthday, and I hung them on the walls of my office. I took a picture of them with my cellphone and wanted to share the pictures with you.

Darin These charts are great--is there anyway they can be copied clearly so someone could make a good copy of Ters use?

Could be they are old dealership charts! Anybody know if Ford had charts like these in their dealership garages? Very neat.

These charts were in all my grandpa's, Roger Hull, T stuff. This year he decided to slow down a little, probably since he just turned 100. His T stuff was very important to him and he wanted to keep it in the Hull family. So, over the course of this year, he turned his T, parts, and other misc items to me. So now I have a 1913 Model T roadster in the garage; extra block/transmission; and so many large storage tubs of coils, transmission drums, crankshafts, and this 'n thats... I've lost count.

These posters were found in the "T stuff." Old is a subjective term... I doubt these are period pieces but they are older than me probably! :-) Figured y'all might find some interest in them, so I figured I'd share. I might be able to take a better picture with them using a digital camera with good resolution... I don't know if there would be a way to scan them.

Darin - I remember your Grandpa very well. We were on the tour when he rolled the '13 Roadster and your Grandma wound up in the hospital. If I remember correctly that was in Oklahoma in the '70's

The last chart you posted a picture of which shows the lubrication was sold by the vendors in the 80's I think. I have one hanging on my garage wall.

Yep, the lube chart is still being sold. I got my copy about twenty years ago. But I've never seen those other two. Pretty neat stuff.

Consider taking them to a printshop and having prints made on gloss paper. I'm sure many would like to have a copy and you might make a little on the side. ;o)

These are cool! I have some large, poster-sized diagrams from the 50s of the Model T electrical wiring. Very cool. If anyone was interested I could post/email those as well.

The wiring diagram shown above is an older version and has errors. I recently helped the author correct them.
Here is a correct wiring diagram for a Model T Ford.

Keith that was in our 1976 Fulton Mo, he came off the old Boonville Mo bridge and went into the turn when his steering box under the steering wheel sheared the rivets, no control of the steering.

Darin, when did your granddad learn to drive a Ford?
If he started at 16, he may be one of the few still among us who drove T's when they were new :-)

John - Thanks for that clarification...my memory gets kind of fuzzy after 35 years...

Roger - Make that "one of the VERY few still among us"

Darin - We'd all like to know when Roger first drove a T. Could you please ask him for us?

Thanks, Keith

Hey guys,

You know, one of the great benefits of this organization is not only the shared T-ing knowledge... but folks that actually knew my grandpa and being able to discuss those memories. Earlier this year, I was telling him about joining the MTFCA and all the folks that remember different tours. It was very exciting for him and I saw it in his eyes. :-) He started a local chapter of the MTFCA in Ohio many years ago, the South West Ohio Model T Ford Club http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/southwestohio/index.htm . The MTFCA and the local chapter organizations were very important to him.

That accident I had heard of but John told me even more details about it. And I believe it was John that sent me a short article and pictures on the accident from the Vintage Ford that covered the issue. I'll post some of those pictures in another post.

I will get a hold of grandpa to ask him about his youth with Ts and when he first drove one. I've asked him many T questions but don't believe I've asked that one. I'll let you know what he says.

I appreciate everyone being so welcoming in the T community. It's an honor and privilege to be able to keep the 13T in the family and share it with my kids/grandpa's great-grandchildren.

Roger and Keith,

Grandpa's mind isn't as sharp as it used to be. But he indicated that his family had vehicles during the T time frame but not a Model T. I don't know what make or model of vehicle they had at the time. He did indicate that as far as Fords, he did drive a Model A.
