I'd like to invite anyone in the area to attend the 13th annual car show at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas.
It is entirely student run. Typically we have around 175-200 cars. This year, we are featuring CCCA "Full Classics". We tend to draw more original and restored, authentic cars than other shows in the area.
This year, we will have at least 3 Frontenac powered Model T's in attendance.
Thanks for looking,
Chris Paulsen

You can't beat one of those cars with a doughnut pusher for classy looks.
It was a great show. We had about 240 cars covering the past 110 years. Unfortunately, I was working and didn't get to take any pictures. I know several forum members were there-does anyone have photos they could post?
Thanks Jerry. I'll see if I can find a few more photos. We had Wayne Carini (in the first photo) on campus for 4 days filming. Look for an episode of "Chasing Classic Cars" featuring the college and the car show in the fall.
Here is a link to my first UTUBE video I uploaded. It shows the students putting together a Model T.

Here's a few more photos of autos at the McPherson C.A.R.S. show this last Saturday. All of the cars featured in the photos are owned by Flatland T's of Kansas Chapter MTFCA members.
I'd think that Model T steamer is a pretty rare car if I didn't have my own T that makes a lot of steam.
Is the Brush a 1909? If I had deep pockets that's one non-T car I wouldn't mind having.
Thank you Verne and Jerry for the great photos and video. Steve-it is a 1912.
Brush automobiles have an engine that rotates counter clockwise. In the interest of safety would they have to be cranked right handed?
Steve have you ever heard the expression about the Brush Automobile "Wooden frame, wooden axles and wooden run"? I think they are a neat car too.
Great photos guys. Thanks
John
Great college and program! Wish there were more schools doing this!
William-yes, the Brush cranks counter-clockwise. It is very simple to crank right handed. I've not tried left-handed.
J Berch-I've heard that expression too.
Bob-Thank you for the compliment, but I am glad there aren't too many schools like us!
Has any one viewed my vid?
Sure did Jerome. 8 min 55 sec. Good job. You had an excellent angle to view the assembly.
Yes, the Brush was designed for right-hand cranking! That was one of their safety features. It also has a two speed tranny. Low is not low enough to climb steep grades, High is not fast enough to pass anything on level ground, but go downhill and you can scare yourself to death! At least it seemed so to me. Wish I owned the car I got to drive, but it's owned by Chico State University.

Hey Jerome......I watched it too.......those guys really hustle.......
I saw that done at a Steam & Gas show at Rockford, IL, some years ago although they didn't "build" nearly as complete a car as these guys.
I bet that will still be a popular "show" a hundred years from now!
