I was looking through some of my Bookmarked Forum Threads last night and rediscovered this one.

I was wondering if there was any follow up on the Forum regarding this special Model A pictured below. Like you Stan I think it should have been saved the way it is in the picture. Regards, JP.

I am not Stan and I missed the original posting, but that looks like it would make a great off the road vehicle. The mail should have gotten delivered on time with that car.
It is being preserved in the collection of Bob Woodburn of Bozeman, Montana. Bob has a variety of cars ranging from a 1910? Kissel to 60's Chrysler letter cars and Corvettes. If I remember correctly he paid about $13,500 for it at the auction. He also bought the 1909 body that was on ebay a few years ago, the 11 Torpedo body that sold in Iowa? last year and the original 18 Coupelet body out of Oklahoma. His collection is pretty amazing but is not open to the public at this point.
Thanks Stan for the update. That is good news. Much appreciated. JP.

Referring back to the post of 2009, the
picture posted by Thomas Stinson (march 8 2009)was Manufactured and sold by the Eskimobile co. of Almena Wi. under the name of High stilt or Stilt Mobile.
The Eskimobile Co.was a fourth competitor in the snow attachment market starting in 1924. I'm not sure when the Stilt Mobile first appeared on the market.
I have some information on them, Mr. Erwin Miller was the inventor and owner of the Co.
