I'm asking my friends on the forum to pray for my Dad, Conrad, who, two nights ago, was ambulanced to the hospital and is now in the intensive care ward with badly infected kidneys (which have shut down) and sepsis. His doctor just informed me that his condition is worsening and they're having difficulty maintaining his blood pressure.
Thanks,
Bob

I was holding Dad's hand as he gradually and peacefully slipped away in his sleep, this afternoon. Thank you for your prayers and kind words, my friends.
Bob
My sympathy Bob.......
My Dad went from kidney failure a year and a half ago.
On the upside there are FAR worse ways to leave this world......be thankful for that at least.
Very sorry for your loss, Bob. At least you were there. None of us should have to live forever, but sometimes life is still too short.
Best wishes
Gus
My condolences Bob, to be there was a great comfort to your dad and yourself. Your fond memories will sustain you until you meet again. My mom passed away a year ago this month, I live today with the wonderful memories of our lives.

Sorry for your loss Bob, I know there's nothing anyone can say to help, I just went through the same with my Mom I too was by her side also holding her hand. I had said months earlier that I hope I wasn't there when it happened. But thanking back she brought me into this ol'world and it was a privilege for me to be with her when she left us; she knew she didn't make the journey alone because I held her hand tell Jesus came and took the other one. Bob you'll miss him more than you'll realize right now, but you will be just fine hang in there, things will get better in time. May God be with your family .
I'm sorry for your loss. I prayed for him. It was his time to depart, and his suffering is over. I will continue to pray for you to strengthen and comfort you and your family at this time.
Norm

I don't know if I really want to ask this question but how's he doing Bob?
Dennis, Bob's father has passed. (See above) Join us in offering our deepest sympathy in this the worst of times. I lost my father 7 years ago and have the pleasure of thinking of him daily. The sad will turn to memories of smiles, hang in there Bob. Peace be with you ....
So sorry to hear of your loss, Bob. There is no better way to depart this earth than in a peaceful, painless sleep surrounded by those we love. He is a lucky man. Jim Patrick
My deepest condolences,
it is sad lose those we love
wishing you happier times
I just had a feeling that I didn't want to ask that question. It seems like yesterday, though it was several years ago, that my dad was in the ICU with all kinds of tubes coming out of him. He couldn't speak but my mother and I could see the frustration in his eyes and we knew he didn't want to be kept alive that way. I asked the doctor if he would ever leave the hospital, the doctor said no. My mother and I made the decision to let him go and told the doctor to 'pull the plug'. He was dead within hours.
My mother is gone now too, I miss them both very much.
Bob, I share your pain and you have my deepest sympathies.
Dennis.
Bob,
I'm so sorry for your loss. We will be praying for you and your extended family. Take time to grieve ... it is an important part of the process of saying goodbye, moving on to the good memories, and honoring the memory of your Dad.
If I can be of any help please let me know.
Respectfully submitted,

Very sorry to hear that Bob. My condolences.
My condolences and prayers are with you, Bob. Renal failure is not the worst way to go, but the loss is the same. I'm happy for you that you were there with him. I'm sure he appreciated your company and love. May God have a palace prepared for him.
Bob, sorry to hear of your loss.
Sincere condolences from my family to yours.
Regards,
Steve
Bob, my condolences. I'm terribly sorry for your loss.
Rob
It's a blessing that you were there with him at the end. The passings are hard, but it is good to be together at the end. He was not alone, and knew he was loved. Peace and strength to you and your family Bob.
I agree with John. My mom, my sister and I, my wife and my daughter were all with my Dad when he passed over. He knew we were there. It's not easy, but no one promised us that life would be easy. I join with everyone else in offering my condolences. At times like this, the Dutch say, "I wish you strength," or just "Strength!" That's really what you need now.
Bob,
Sorry for your Dad's passing.
I lost my father this January also from kidney failure due to diabetes. I was with him in his last moments also and so glad I was.
Please hang in there and know a lot of the extended T family is thinking of you.
Larry
Can't thank you guys enough for your prayers, kind words and condolences.
Bob
My condolences Bob.
Bob,sorry for your loss.
Bob - You have our sympathy. Prayers to you and your family.
Keith
Bob,
So sorry to hear the news. I know how very painful this can be. Keep the faith my friend. You will find the strength you need. God bless you.
To Bob and His Family:
Hank Williams sang a song in I think the 50's titled " I'll never get out of this world alive" ironically he was right.
Sorry to hear of your loss, he is in a better place , no worries , no pain and he is with all his friends and that have none on before. Oh, one other title I just thought of " Beyond the Sunset", and I would tell any and all who reads this post if you can find the words to these two songs listen to them as those are the ones I want sang ar recited at my funeral, as they are really touching.
I also have to say look for some of Merle Haggards music as he has some great songs and he lives about 10 east of where I live.
Again Bob and Family our thought be with you.
