The body and chassis are in primer and parts are starting to be painted. The color is a darker blue, and was listed in sales brochures as Royal Blue.
If all goes well, the car will be painted and head back to have the engine put in in late April/early May.
Absolutely beautiful. Love the lines of the body.

What a beauty. Every day it gets closer to my ride in a K... but I think you should bolt the fenders on instead of tying them on with a yellow rag.
She's a real beauty Rob. Love that color.

Rob-
Looks lovely in that blue. I didn't realise that you were going for pretty much the full resto! Did the car have evidence of Blue paint somewhere or did you just decide Blue was better than red? Just curious.Keep the updates coming.

Just received some photos from my friend going through the engine. He has it "spiffed up", running and looking very good(sitting on a TT frame).
Better clean that carb flange up and get ready for the Buffalo, it's getting closer to coming home.
I have to go with Erich! All I can say is---- Uuuuuhh- Ahhhhhhhh! Very nice! Can;t wait to see the end result!
Rob, what find of paint is being used on the body parts?
Chip,
We started with a Ford 1907 paint code for Royal Blue (couldn't believe there was a code for that). However, it was lighter than some of the old paint we found in a few "crevices" so we went progressively darker using paint chips.
It is a 2 stage Dupont paint.
Stan, if you have any pics of the Buffalo and would like to, go ahead and post them.
Thanks,
Rob

Great engine pictures. Nice to see all of it without the body and radiator hiding bits of it.
The fellow that painted that fender sure knew mwhat he waqs doing, beautiful look!
Rob, how close is the color to Pepsi blue? lol
wow thats a big sucker of an engine.
What is the horse power of an engine that size and how big are those cylinders? How much does it weigh?
Dennis,
Ks were rated 40 horsepower with a 405 cubic inch engine. In comparison, the Model NRS engine was 15 hp and 149 cu. inches.

Wow, that engine looks like a voracious beast. Just look at the size of the engine mounts on it.
