Hey Dick, this video is for you! I made it Saturday while out for a drive to test my new ahooga horn. I need your thoughts about where to permanently install the horn. It is to big to fit under the hood! I'm thinking I need to mount it outside like they do on an A.

PS: Mill's Hill is a 1.8 mile, 4.9% grade on Route 13 in Dunbarton, New Hampshire

I had the same problem. The picture shows where I mounted it. Very satisfied with the installation.

Oops - also found a pic showing the mounting. The clamp on the fender strut is what I call an aircraft clamp, they are lined with rubber and you can find them at a good hardware store. The clamp is held to the horn by one of the machine screws that holds the horn bell to the diaphram. Seems to hold well.
Thanks Bud, for your help and photos. I made the hill climb with "Sambuca" my 1917 Model T in high (direct) gear! Ever since Dick Welch rebuilt Sambuca's engine and transmission last summer, I have been amazed at the power and smoothness that it has. Mill's Hill is almost a two mile, five percent grade and the T walks right up it!
Happy motoring, Warren
PS: I see by your profile your a dog lover to.
Cant you use the regular clamp that is used later bolting to the water inlet and head? Snyders sells that bracket for 15.00 - there should be enough room. Love the spotlight - what maker is it??
Bud,
Does the big horn compensate for no head light? ;>)
