I found this today by accident. I can't figure out what's so special about these lights.

Someone, obviously thinks that they have Gold in their possession. Let him run them on Ebay and see what he gets.
Thanks for this great opportunity. If I buy the pair for $800 and sell them for $800 each, I'll double my money!
Oh boy, I am feeling rich as I have several sets of those Model T or a lights that are in better condition!
Paul
LOL, My sets are twice as good so they are worth at least $1600.00
Paul
Good Lord.......I have a notion to go there and tell him what an idio.......oh nevermind.......I'll find something else to do....... LOL
BE nice!
The guy needs the money to repair the tile floor!
They are rare when you want them. Is it just me or do the reflectors and bulbs look different?
I have several that I would sell to him for $400.00 a pair and he could double his money. Dave
Hell that aint gold, thats fools gold !!
Come on guys, the fellow obviously forgot the decimal point after the 8.
Either the lights or the seller was under water too long.
well, hell, he no doubt saw the price or value on American Pickers. Mike Wolfe would definetly quote some idot price like this! These damn shows are ruining the real truth of what collectables are really worth. If anyone wants a pair I have two pair

I tend to agree with you John L. There's several other silly reality shows where these people place imaginary prices on various items. I also think people who don't follow the car market very closely occasionally see something like a Barrett Jackson auction and think if a 1967 Mustang sells for 60,000, then a 1920 Ford must really be worth a bunch.
Like most people, if he wants to sell them, he'll either have do a little research or his family can sell in a box of junk under the hammer at an estate auction.
Here is a copy of this CL Ad since they don't last for ever.
I think it is a simple error of a misplaced decimal, at $8.00 they are not a bad buy.
Best
Gus
If you could get them both and he paid the shipping and you needed them it would be ok for $8 Gus.
About 10 years ago a used "ORIGINAL" model T ignition key went for $250 so maybe.....?
Na. I agree with John about the decimal point being in the wrong place.
