Model T Ford Forum: Forum 2012: Lubricant for T axle and DB axle and transmission

I have a 26 Model T and a 25 Dodge Bros sedan.
I need advice on gear lube for rear axles and the DB transmission. The DB manual says to use the same lube for both the transmission and rear axle. I use #600 in the T axle and have a small amount left. Snyders sell 600-W oil (M-533). Would this be a decent substitute for the DB? BTW the DB manual calls their grease "Dodge Bros Motor Car Lubricant".
THanks.
Regards,
Larry Pletcher

Larry,

The 600W would be o.k. and so would a 140 gear lube, as available at your local auto parts store.
