Love the ad that says "Eat Sanitary Ice Cream." Would you want any other kind?

The guy looks like Sam Drucker from Pettiecoat Junction!

Gary, according to Sam it's one word, "Motorfluid" :-)

No--that's not Sam Drucker! He (Frank Cady) is a friend of mine, now 96 years old. Here is a photo with him last year!

Ken,

You made my day.
Best wishes to Frank, he looks great.

If you're from Hooterville I guess you're pretty ageless.

Larry

Larry--you're right about the "ageless" part! I am lucky enough to count three "Hooterville residents" as friends: Frank, Linda Henning (Betty Jo) and Tom Lester (Eb). Frank is still sharp as a tack, although his health has been fragile the past year. Here is a picture of Linda with me in my 1915 touring, taken during her last visit in September. Hopefully we will be seeing her in May! Also one of Linda and Frank at his home.

Amazing! I just watched "The Bad Seed" last week. My co-worker and I watch movies during lunch time.

Frank played the Father of the boy that was killed by "The Bad Seed" so that she could get the gold medal that the boy had won in a school contest.

Mr. Cady is truly ageless. He looks the same now as he did when he starred on "Green Acres." My hat's off to him!

I loved the Green Acres and related TV series. As a city boy that wished he were a country boy, I felt like I would fit into the rural communities portrayed there. My thanks to Frank, Linda, Tom, and the other "Hooterville" and vicinity residents for much pleasurable viewing. I have some of the Green Acres programs on DVD, and still enjoy watching them. By the way, I finally made it out of the city, and now live in a small town!

Too much to comment upon.
Ken L, that is wonderful! I had no idea that he would still be around. I loved his character in those shows. He really has not aged much in the past forty years. I hope he continues to do well for years to come!

My silly memory. It is bad enough with 'Gilligan's Island'. I haven't seen either show for forty years, but still know most of the words to the theme songs for both 'Petticoat Junction" and 'Green Acres'.

Jay!
Back to the photo. Thank you! This is another really good one.

John G et al,
I saw that right away, also. But I take extra notice of it because I once found a ball bearing in my half gallon of ice cream. That is another oddity of my life. WAY more than the statistical probability, I find things that should not be in my food and drinks.
No, I don't care for it. Couldn't I just win the lottery instead?

Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
