Are these "T" and if so , model and approximate year?
The first electric headlamps (1915) were fork mounted, but the fork didn't have a base like that. I'd say non-Ford.
finally got the next picture to upload,
they came in my "T" stuff, maybe off the racer??
anyone with idea's ???
thanks
Maybe some kind of tractor? The forks are very heavy cast iron. They are not Ford at all.
string gasket
2 prong connection
trim ring attachment

Shawn,
I've come to discover there were loads of after market headlamp companies in the T era. Last week I posted these two pics trying to find out what make vehicle these oval headlamps might have come from. They were mounted on this barn find early 1950's hot rod I just dragged home last Sunday. I only got a single response (counting me, you're up to three which is more info than I got).

I like those lights , love to know what they are off
Shawn,
I don't know for sure, but I think those brackets and lamps may be Ch##y, or possibly Overland. I see lots of those fork mounts at swap meets, but rarely the lamps. There is no easy way to mount those on a T. Nothing solid to bolt the fork bracket onto a T runs in the right direction. I do know that some Ch##y headlamps in the late '10s/early '20s use the same rim. They are interchangeable with T rims. I talked to a Ch##y restorer a couple years ago that had parts at a swap meet ( I was considering a light switch he had, but he wanted too much for it, rare model Ch##y).
James,
I recall that thread, one of those gave a good answer. I also have a lamp very similar to those. They were after-market. They could be purchased as singles or pairs and came in a variety of mounting configurations, including steerable. I've had mine for many years, but have never found the right car that it really looked good on. I almost put it on the '25 Pierce Arrow I had years ago, but after rigging it in place and looking at it for a few days, I decided I didn't really like it there.
How is that Faultless boat-tail coming along? When is your daughter going to drive it? Boat-tails are great fun. You want to enjoy it!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
I have some of those lights. I believe they are 490 Chevy (please forgive the dirty word). They will fit the forks of a Model T.
Pretty sure those oval lights are aftermarket accessory driving lights and not headlights.

Rick is correct.
Che^ 490. I sold a pair at the Portland Swap Meet.
