I screwed up last week and over-tightened the brass nut on my magneto post, breaking it. As I'm using an aftermarket outside oil line which has the oil pickup elbow on a redesigned magneto post, I figured making the repair would involve ordering the entire kit. I picked up the phone, dialed Lang's and told them my tale of woe to make sure I was ordering the correct item. As a courtesy, they actually broke up an outside oil line kit so they could send me only that part of it which was needed; the magneto post and elbow—and charged me half-price.
Now, they sure didn't have to do that, but it's just typical of the little courtesies Lang's has always extended me, like the when I gave them a big order and they tucked a brass data-plate into the package for free. They're a class outfit.
Quite a while ago I posted here that I couldn't find a wood fuel tank gauge/stick any where. Actually it was my bad. Didn't hit the exact description. I mentioned no company names and I assume they monitor the site because I received an E-mail telling me they had a stick in the mail for me which I got a few days later. Totally unsolicited and done on their own. Yeah, I'm going to use some body else. Not!
Lands has always been super to me! I needed a plug(like a freeze plug) for a new style outer seal because I bent the one supplied. They sent me another right away!
I agree, class group. I've always been pleased with their help.

I've always had a hard time deciding which of my 2 favorites to buy from. Never had a bad experience and they have always made good if there was a problem.
For the most part people who work with old car parts are very good.
Langs has never done me wrong, Always very pleased with there service. I'd almost be afraid to tally up how much money I'v given Langs over the last 10 years for differant parts. I enjoy giving +++postive+++ credit to a good company.
I agree with all the positive comments. But Geez Louise, guys, couldn't we get Trish back?

I once proposed to Trish to go back and she refused my advances, shuck foiled again.
I really thought I had her going but NO GO .She said she did not want an older Man!!

Trish was a character all right!
Langs are top notch in my book
I would like to add my praising for Lang's! They have filled my every need with fast and courteous service. The last example was just last week when I wanted to add another (noise maker, oops I meant) horn to my T. I called on Friday morning to order a horn button and I had it in Saturdays mail. The month before I was in desperate need of a drivers side rear fender, so I called Lang's and sure enough they had just pick one up at Chickasha and I got it the next day (I drove down to Lang's to get it).

Nice Buick, Warren
Weld or fiberglass - How did you do the fender reconstruction?
Piñatas?
Roger, I called Lang's and they had picked up the fender when at Chickasha.
Happy motoring, Warren
PS: thank you for your nice comment on my Buick.
LANG'S IS FANTASTIC! I buy fromthem all the time. for several reasons. if i place my order with them today by 2pm, i will have it tommorow at noon when the UPS truck comes. that to me is a huge PLUS. aslo my county sales tax here in NYS is 9.75%, so if i order from a supplier in NYS i must pay the sales tax, so for that reason, NYS vendors are out. i also buy a lot from Texas T, they are also fantastic, but it takes longer than i like to recieve parts because of UPS time travel. i feel both of these 2 suppliers go above and beyond to keep the Model T hobby running! thank you to all the suppliers that provide such a great service to us.
Just to add my 2 cents, I met one of the boys (sons?) at Chickasha last month. He was courteous and helpful.
Raised right I'd say.

Langs is first class! Just take the employees for example - Dave, wont mention his last name, has always been a valuable source on the coupes! These are his special interest. And, he makes parts! He and the others there make you feel very welcome! Just nice people!
