I have a really nice low radiator hood I would like to use om my '21. No tears, no dents or dings, even finish painted (wrong color). But....... the top panels are no longer curved to match the radio shell or firewall, they have flattened out. What is the best way to bend them back into shape? I have limited metal working skills / ability.

Hand form it around something like a telephone pole.

Doug,

Place the hood on the car then carefully, from the center front then center back work the hood down till it can be latched at the bottom. As the hood starts to take its correct form, add thin wood spacers (about the length of the minor curve of the hood) to the radiator shroud and firewall side till the hood has its shape. Wooden wedges can be purchased from most hardware/lumber yards.

Just take your time and work the shape slowly.
