The pedal on my rear brakes are going all the way to end of pedal travel so I need to adjust them. I know I have brake drums at the rear and a worm drive rearend but how do I adjust them. Thanks, Joe B.

Joe, the brake drums in rear are for the parking/emergency brake only. The brake pedal is the service brake which contracts a band around the transmission brake drum. The rule of thumb is to tighten the band so the peddle is 2 inches from the floorboard. To adjust this brake, you need to remove the key from the ignition and then remove the transmission/hogshead cover. The brake band is the furthest to the rear and you tighten the band up using the nut on the end of the brake pedal shaft.
The rear brakes in the brake drums are adjusted by lengthening or shortening the brake rods which run from you brake handle to the rear drum brakes.
