And the timing is advanced! He will shortly gain a bit of common sense. He will then know to retard the timing before cranking.
Perhaps if he was a little taller he would be able to see the spark advance lever....
The little fella might not be cranking at all. Maybe just looking for a place to drain the radiator. ;)
So THAT'S what the kids are callin' it nowadays!
Maybe not nowadays, but the kids in my generation.
Doing a little bladder splatter.
Whatever he is doing you can't beat that for cute. A Model T on a tilt and a wee kid. What a picture.
Thanks Dane
Rich
That is his LEFT hand! Everything in Australia is reversed. Left is right and up is down. Notice I am right because the steering wheel looks like it is on the left, but it is really on the right!
Norm
I would love to have a large copy of that to hang on the wall in the shop.
I may have to try recreating that picture with my 2 year old son.
I would too Derek. That's about the cutest Model T picture I've seen. Thanks for posting it Dane.
John
Looks like he had to slide over and exit the passenger side due to that pesky emergency brake handle getting in the way of his looong legs. At 6'-3, 240 lbs. I have the same problem . Jim Patrick
You bunch of sexists!!! Maybe that is a little girl!!!
No, they have to practically undress.
Right hand cranking will stunt your growth!
This makes it legal...That kids' gotta be 92 and still twistin' lefty ... ws
Bill,
you've just turned it from a US to a Canadian car.
Great picture Dane.

Andrew- Thanks for 'bumping' this photo. I thought it was cute, and was a bit surprised that it had not caught attention when first posted.
Everyone else- thanks for the comments, and I am afraid to inform you that it is not an Aussie upside-down, back-to-front photo, but one found in U.S.A. John Berch P.M.'d me for details (thanks John) and I was able to locate the link again. Here is the link-

Dane, Thanks for finding it again for us.
John
Looks like we may have another right handed crank yanker. He may just be pulling it through once to prime it with the switch off.
I've noticed these short guys don't close the door behind them. It may be because they can't reach it once they've jumped down off of the running board.
John
Good timing John – those headlights were just what I needed!

I liked this picture so much I had to try copying it...
Oops, Sorry the picture came in so big.
Very nice! And on my computer, the picture size is fine.
Are you going to introduce the "T"er in training?
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Well done Derek!. This (or these) are now on their way to become classics.
P.S. I think the grass is a bit long compared to the original, but all else is magnificent.
The "T"er in training is my 2 year old son A.J.
We had spent all day at a car show/parade/flea market in town and he missed nap-time, so he wasn't very cooperative, but thanks to digital cameras I was able to take a lot of pictures and pick out the best.
A.J. should not drive that way! If he hits a bump or a pothole the steering wheel could spin and take off his arm! Anyway, I don't think he could reach the pedals yet, so maybe you can teach him before that happens.
Norm
Derek, your "copy" photo is really great!!!! I love it!!!
