We should use this to post upcoming auctions and swap meets so people like me do not find out one week late. Would be helpful to plan activities.

On the MTFCA Home Page, there is already an "events" calendar (top right column)and right below it is the tab to post your event on the calendar.
July 20-21, Long Beach Model T Club Swap Meet. It is on the events calendar.
Bill could you elaborate on what the event is in Belvidere?

Bill,
I love the Hot Rod rat Rod swap meets. I tend to find original T parts for a lot less money at some of those meets. I just dragged this untouched 50's hot rod project home two weeks ago. I only bought it because I wanted some parts off of it for my Faultless Speedster projects. Turned around and sold the rod after taking off what I wanted for about 4 times what I paid for it.
No harm no foul.

Some nice gauges for a Speedster!

What I was talking about was using the spot on the opening page to post the events so you could just click on it and see what was coming up. I knew what I was talking about, I guess others did not understand. I am not always the best explaining things! Thanks!
Mike,
I believe you are talking about have an area on the MTFCA homepage that will contain a list of links to upcoming events. I think that would be a great idea. I know that I can't keep track or remember events in my local area. There are usually some that I don't know anything about. I have recently relocated to the Springfield, Missouri, area and I don't always know what is happening here. One thing that I would like to have notice of, is any Model T related auctions in my area.
Rick welcome to Spfld Mo, the HillBilly T tour will be headquartered in Spfld Mo this Sept, we are the parts people and one of the vulcure trailer pullers There is 2 T clubs in Spfld, the original club split years ago. both are good I've known lots of T people from Spfld, some no longer with us, and many still there danuser88@ktis.net we are in Fulton Mo MTFCA # 2088
Rick I believe the area is already there. We just need to use it!
Mike Hager:
I use the YOU POST EVENTS to post the Colorado/Wyoming tours and the annual Leaf Peeper Tour but the last couple of years it has been hard to post. I will try again this year. The annual LEAF PEEPER TOUR sponsored by the Denver Model T club will depart from Loveland, Colorado on September 29th this year. The lead motel will be the FOUNTAINS OF LOVELAND which is a La Quinta motel. The fall of year is the best time of year in Colorado. There will be no tour fee. For more information please email Dave Huson at modelt1912@msn.com.
