Before I get to work, I thought I'd share this item from another planet called USA, 1955. I signed up for a class at the local juco and they wanted transcripts. Along with a copy of my Pepperdine transcript and my high school diploma I included this proof that I own real estate. I told the admissions boss that with the endorsement of my fourth grade teacher, my high school principal, George Pepperdine, and Sergeant Preston, I'm golden.

Ever thought of building on it?

Sorry Steve, the Canadian government seized all of them square inches of land back in 1965 for unpaid taxes.. ($37.50 to be exact)

Thought I'd never see one again. My sister bought land from Sergeant Preston too.
Thanks for taking me back to the 50's.
Rich

I remember these, Steve... I wanted to buy one but my folks denied it. I always thought I would make an inch diameter post and build an empire above ground, hoping the wind would not blow! Amazing that you still have this!

Roger, thanks for the link. I got a good laugh out of that. I guess I won't be making a trip to the Yukon to visit my property.

I think everyone who neglected to re-register their plot of land in it’s metric dimensions
within the 1 year grace period set out by the very astute members of our government
have now forfeited the rights to any claim of the surface land or any subsurface oil,
diamonds or minerals (including but not withstanding the gold and silver) located within
or below the perimeters or boundaries of said property.
You would have now had a whopping 25.4 sq. mm of land !!

Actually you'd have a whopping 645.2 sq mm of land!
