If all goes well, the body/chassis goes back to Iowa to meet up with the engine next week. One problem, the radiator needs completely rebuilt, any suggestions?
Very nice paint job--tell us about it--what paint--what steps in your procedure--ect. Thanks Joe
Rob, I'm in Iowa City until Saturday the 12th and would be more than glad to help you guys in any way. My number is 712-301-7172.
Also, I had a whippit radiator redone by they guy out of Peoria, Illinois who is always in the north building at Chickasha. He did a good job had a book of previously done radiators in it and a lot of them were big brass radiators. Also I think brassworks will custom build them also.
Joseph,
It is two stage. We found a Dupont code and didn't have to mix any colors.
Ned,
I hope to bring it over the middle of next week. Also, I got ahold of Bergs (now the son is doing the work) and he said he would try it, and thought he could get to it somewhat quickly. He is in Chilcothe MO, so not terribly far from me.
Also, I have the name and number of a fellow in the Sioux City area who has a rebuilt 25 block and some other T parts he would like help pricing and help. May I pass your name on to him?
Rob
Rob, that would be fine for him to give my dad or I a call. I have finals next week but could always use a study break...
Good GOD that's pretty........
That body looks like a sleigh without the runners. It's a true "horseless carriage".
Looks like that car will be ridin' and drivin' before too much longer. How exciting!
Rob, you've really got a fantastic car. Please keep the updates coming.
The blue you chose is really perfect. Will you please tell us what the DuPont code and color name is?
Rob, K is looking good! Great paint job!
Relative to radiators. Bill LeMaster used to live in Chillicothe, Il (near Peoria). Bill passed away last year. Gery Bergbower lives in a small town in southern Illinois (Bluford, Il). I have picked up radiators from him near his home town. Rob, I think you have Gery confused with Bill LeMaster's home town.
