Wood and wire wheels! Must have been a transitional car?

Herb

Neat home-made boat-tail! (Am I the only person left that uses the word "neat"?) I also like those wheels.
Thanks, Herb.
Drive carefully, and enjoy,

Wayne, Not only "Neat" but it was "Cool" and "Swell" too. Or more period correct "The cat's meow."

Herb - That's because you're such a "neat" guy! :-)

At least I don't recall anyone on this site refering to anything as "One bad car".
That one gets my goat as bad as calling a group of girls "guys".

How would you like to drive that on a tour, sitting on the floor, looking thru the steering wheel with your knees under your chin.

It looks like there are three wire wheels and only one wood wheel. There must a good story behind that.
I would love to drive that car, just the way it is in the photo, on lots of tours. Especially if I knew the story behind the wheels. I suspect that if I sat in it, I would be looking over the steering wheel. It appears the driver is slouching down. I often do that in my cars.
Great photo, again, thank you for sharing.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
