Thats the Question, between the two carbi's that were available in 1913, which actually performed better ??
I have both, restored by Russ Potter and both work well, look fantastic BUT from a driving experience which is the better unit
I have been using a Kingston Y in my Runabout for about 7 years and l cant fault it, On the other hand, the Holly S is on my Touring and thus far has only seen about 60 miles.
Any thoughts as to a comparison ???
David.
I have used both. I've never been able to get the engine to start very easily with the two screw after the engine warms up. The four ball works fine, but gets lousy mileage. I like an NH even though it's incorrect for a 13.
I've used both and had them rebuilt by Russ Potter. They both work fine. I would say the Kingston 4 ball performs a bit better.
Larry, l'm finding the reverse with the Holley "S", harder to start when cold, much much easier to fire up after warm !!!...time and more usage will tell.
At this stage, l think the Kingston "Y" may very well be the better 1913 carbi.
