Where can you buy the most authentic top and side curtain material and which is the one to get?Is it the Colonial Grain vinyl which some of the vendors carry the one to get? Here is what I see.

One vendor catalog states that Colonial pattern is used on cars up to 1916 and Short Grain Cobra is used on the later cars. This is for their top and side curtain kits. Their top Boots show Colonial on all.

Macs is getting the turf grain material directly from the manufacturer, which is Haartz. I like to buy mine from Langs. The Colonial stuff is what was being made before the turf grain was reintroduced. Steve Coniff and I were the ones that persuaded Eric Haartz to start remaking the material. Eric tried in vain to find rollers for the original Ford Grain. What we have now is very close to the original pattern, and has a much better gloss than the Colonial.
