Well I finished installing my Texas T disc brakes. The hardest part of the install was removing my left wheel. It took me 6 hours. The hub was so tight to the axle. The fit between the two must be almost perfect. It was so tight that I mushroomed the bolt on the puller and had to buy a new one. I eventually drilled out the bolts that held the spokes to the wheel so I could heat up the hub without messing up the spokes. There was several things that need to be fixed with the kit. The bolts to put the wheel together were short. I have floating hubs. Ben sent me a second set of bolts. He will know better next time. The spacers used to offset he caliper mounting bracket were 1/4 inch too long for my setup. I have new axles. To center the calipers on the disc I had to use 8 washers on each bold. So I made up new mounting spacers eliminating the need for washers. Ben told me he is making some smaller spacers for people with new axles. The discs were painted just before shipping and then wrapped in newspaper. So the paper stuck to the disc/drums. Also I had to clean off the paint on the stopping surface so the brakes would work correctly. The remainder of the system fit perfectly. I would recommend using a vacuum pump to bleed the system. It will take you forever to bleed them otherwise.

The car now stops smoothly and quitely.

Now I have a used set of large drum, pre 26 trans Rocky Mountain Brakes if some one in the Detroit area wants them. I will not ship them. Just make me an offer.

I also just installed the Texas T disks on my 27 Tudor.I dont have new axles but I also noticed the spacers were too long for my car.I spent alot of time playing with the spacing between backing plate and bracket and bracket to caliper.I also found the clevis to be too deep for my car (couldn't fit lock nut at first)Bleeding is definitely the worst part of the job.I used a vacuum bleeder but actually had more success the old fashioned way (wife pumping pedal). All in all a great product and excellent support from Ben.I would definitely use them again.
