And yeah it's in Japan; but not to worry because of the 7 Thousand dollar Economy Shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/130662780820?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619
Jack Daron - Maybe it's got one of those $425.00 front crossmembers in it, huh?
As we say in So. Cal., "Yeah, good luck with that".
Too bad it wasn't near the coast last year, or the shipping would have been FREE.
Ya know, a guy could almost build one for that kind of money.

Now Terry, that's just cold.
It's in metric and the decimal point should be moved over one point to the left for us in the States.
Terry, funny you should mention that, apparantly a Harley in a container washed ashore in BC, and the local dealer is restoring it, and sending it back to its owner in Japan. Have no idea how it could possible have survived that crossing
Rob. I saw the picture. The box was water tight but open on one end and the water tight end was down because the content of the box that didn't spill out all slipped to the low end and was heavy enough to keep it in position. The wind blew into the open end and it acted like a sail pushing it across the ocean like a boat. The motorcycle was in some salt water at the low end and stayed in the container but got corroded.
I wonder if the Ford Motor company had that much in a single T-100?
My father Robert Syverson built that body back in the late 50s or early 60s. I'd have to check the old pricing, but I think it cost something like $150.00 back then.
I remember that car when it was in an antique mall in Waterloo, Iowa about 8-10 years ago. It was on display (not for sale at the time).
I was think about buying it, until I realized that it wasn't one of T-bay's really rare old cars.
Happy motoring, Warren
my hack cost me what the shipping is for that one!
Fancy asking that price when they can't even fit the front hub-caps the right way up!
Terry, from research I've done/read, the T-100's were 200 grand apiece.
Will, you are probably correct, but given the significance of a T-100, they would probably come closer to selling for $200K, than a non-historical depot hack for $60K. I've got two 26-27 chassis that I'll build depot hacks out of, if anyone is willing to give $60K for both of them, combined.
It it listed in japan they are probably much rarer over there.
