I bought this at a swap meet recently, but I don't know exactly what it is... It doesn't have a data tag on it. I'm thinking Simmons maybe??? It's a straight through design, and everything looks very similar to the straight-through Holley NH that I have on my car now, but the outer shape of it is slightly different.
Everything looks new or rebuilt on it, and I want to try it on my car, but want to replace the Grose Jet first. Thanks
Looks like a NH Straight-Though.

Nope, not NH. This is the side that goes toward the engine. On the NH there would be a vent hole with a nameplate over it. Let's see the other side.
It's a Simmons
It could be a Simmons, Wizard or Western Auto brand carburetor. All seem to be identical except the tag.
The screw on the side holds the pin on which the flapper pivots. So it's made by Simmons and could have had their name on it or one of the other retailers such as those Royce mentioned.
Maybe its a ford F
Thank you for the help.
It does not look like a Ford F, which is just an NH. The NH / Ford F does not have the electric heater wire connection seen in the photo just forward of the choke shaft.
Here's a couple more pictures. Did the ones sold as Wizard or Western Auto ever have data tags on them?
Derek -- Yes, they had tags on them. The Wizard name was Western Auto's line of re-branded products, much as Allstate and J.C. Higgins were to Sears. I'll try to remember to get a pic of a Wizard nameplate when I'm at my shop today.
Okie Dokie then -- Here are some pics of ID plates.
This one is the Wizard, a carb made by Simmons and sold by Western Auto.
This the Simmons Super Power, the plate usually seen on these.
This is the same carb, without the Simmons name, just Patented and the pat. nos.
This is the Ford F plate. The F is the sway-back NH after Ford bought the rights to it from Holley. Note that the plate is in a different location from the Simmons.
Derek -- Since your Simmons carb has no rivet holes where the plate goes, I assume that yours never had an ID plate on it.
