No matter how many times or how I try I can not pull up the YOU POST TOURS SECTION so I am going to post the ANNUAL LEAF PEEPER TOUR here. The tour is sponsored by the Denver Model T Club and starts on September 29th. The Fall of the year is the best weather in Colorado and the color is at its best. The tour will last 4 days. It will start at the Fountains of Loveland La Quinta Motel and will continue to Walden Colorado. Please see some of the color in the pictures below and some of the scenery on the way to Walden.

Walden is a logging and cattle area with huge cattle ranches. You may be able to see some of the cattle in the picture below on the way into Walden.

The second day the tour will travel to either Granby, Colorado or Grand Lake Colorado. We are working with the Grand Lake Lodge. If we do go to Grand Lake and stay at the Lodge some one will get the cabin that Henry Ford used to stay in when he visited Grand Lake. There is a placard on the front of the cabin that say Henry Ford stayed here, we could take the Tour picture at. The Lodge overlooks the Lake and is very scenic.

A picture of a couple of the cabins, there are thirty of them.

The third day we will return to Walden and a final banquet in the River Rock Cafe Banquet Room.

On the fourth day we will return to Loveland and say goodbys.

Note the routes are easy with no real steep pitches. Robert Ducharme and I did the whole tour with our Model Ts in ONE DAY.

There will be no Tour Fee at this time. A trouble truck will accompany the tour. We are working on a registration form and will be mailing them out soon.

I forgot to point out that anyone that is still working and does not want to take extra time off is welcome to just do the Saturday Route to Walden and then return back to Loveland on Sunday.

First arrival in Walden on a former Leaf Peeper Tour.
