This photo was taken at the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard in the fall of 1970. The car is a '15 touring owned by Bernie Jarstefer. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time with the right car, so it was included in the photo. It's an ad for Met Life. We purchased the car from Bernie in '92. Bernie went to the Lord in '94, I believe. We still have and enjoy the T! It's the only real history we have on this car. How I envy those who have a lot of history with their cars.... especially "family" history!
Joe,
It is great that you have that piece of history on your car. From your profile it looks like you are new to the forum but have been around Ts for a while. If you would like to find out some additional information on which company produced the body on your T please take a look at the 2005 posting at: “Home for the Holidays” at: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/29/40322.html If you find any body numbers or letters, please let me know (you can click on my name and send me a Private Message or my e-mail is also listed the 3rd line down. You can also post it here -- but if you do not see a reply from me saying thank you -- I probably missed it and would appreciate an e-mail reminder to go look. Thanks.)
And welcome to the forum.
Respectfully submitted,
