I guess someone will identify the maker soon enough, but the angle of the photo particularly shows how some made the tourer bodies a little longer therefore making more space inside. Probably more beneficial for rear passengers leg room, but the ride can get a bit bouncy when ones bum is behind the rear axle.

Another attempt at streamlining the T, without lowering the steering column. Can you imagine sitting in the driver's seat and trying to see around the steering wheel.
My Holden bodied Tarrant tourer is the same. I sit hard right and look around the wheel. Sitting on the lowered seat means looking through the wheel in the normal seating position.
