I'm not sure what the rear spring should look like when it's installed in the frame? with the frame level and the spring seated my springs lean to the rear 1" on both sides. anyone have a measurement from the top rivet on the rear running board bracket to the rear spring bolt hole center in the frame? the frame x's out perfect. maybe someone hooked a chain to the center section to pull it out of a ditch and pulled a twist in the cross member? spring

That seems out of whack, does the rear spring fit 'tight' in the channel of the crossmember?

You should have to really force the spring assembly into the crossmember. Sometimes a spring stack will be offset some, but when assembled to the perches and with the body weight lowered down, the spring will self-center above the rear axle.

Shouldn't tip that far back. Here is one I have. Might be bent or not seating right in crossmember.

Thanks for the pictures and all! my spring pushes up nice and tight. when i sight across the cross member it sure looks tilted forward at the top.the main ply laid flat on the floor and the complete stack lays flat also.i bolted the u bolts up when i saw a problem and still look like the picture i posted.any one have a measurement from the top rivet on the rear running board ? that would help me a ton. thanks Ken
