Art means a lot of things to different people. Some of the entries in this annual "Art Car Parade" are hard to describe.
There is a web site where pictures can be viewed, but todays pictures are not there yet.
Sorry, this is the only picture I have.
This is the Houston parade.

After all the trouble I had resizing the above photos, I though I would get at least one comment.
Computers change faster than I can keep up with.

Thanks, Willie. That truck is a hoot.

If you think shrinking pix to post here is a hassle, you should visit some other Forums. This one is a breeze if you have Microsoft photo resizer.

Garrett, My sons were the ones in the parade with the TT truck and trailer.
I think the photo was taken before the parade started and that is a rather large man sitting just behind the trailer.
There are a lot of people that watch the "Art Car Parade" and it gets very crowded.

Y'all know what we call an armadillo down south?

It's a opossum on the half shell.

We call opossums speed bumps.

That TT spend all its life in my home county. I am the third owner. The last owner lived on the other side of the Bob Wire fence here in the country. The truck is almost the way I bought it with minimum maintenance. I remember it being used in the late 50's by the last owner.

Neat truck.
Ricks,my neighbor used to be the center line paint machine operator for Dot in this division.
He got himself in hot water 1 day. There was a "sleeping" cat in the center of the road.He never slowed down, the old geezer running the guns didnt cut them off.Well, they created a centerline feline.
Problems began when it was determined it was the mayors wifes cat of that small town.He all but lost his job.
But the real kicker was about 15 years later. The state decided there was to much debris in the road for the paint to stick. So they put a 3 foot wide broom on the lead trucks in paint operations.Tommy retired and went back to work as a temp.Guess what he got to run once he taught his replacement on the paint machine?Yep,the lead-broom truck. He told me it would throw a possum at least 20 feet in the air and send it about 30 feet off the road if he hit it right!

Willie,
That whole display, rolling or not, is a work of art! Bet the music was good too.
Good question, Garrett.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

Mack, I am just the father of those two sons of mine. I am guilty of getting them into Model T's. I did not attend the actual parade and do not know much about music. The music and instruments were provided by some friends of my sons. I do like to hear good music.
Garrett, you were correct, that was some sort a large armadillo that you circled. This is a so called art parade.
