This web site needs a photo gallery. There are several members that have devoted their spare time to hunting down great period photos of T's and posting them for us all. The problem is they are all buried in the bowels of the forum. When we upload a photo a description is entered for each picture and a file name is created. All these photos must be archived in one place. Is there a way to access them directly?
It does. It's on the home page, right hand side, 2/3 the way down.
No Hal. That is a collection of photos posted directly to that gallery. I'm talking about all the incidental photos that are appearing in these forum posts. Where do they go and can they be openly accessed?
John, I think that your suggestion is a good one. Not sure how it could be done. The photo of the car in front of Melbourne University is a case in point. If it was in a gallery, it would be much easier to locate the previous posting.
I would certainly be willing to load all of the photos that I have found into a special gallery so that they can be held safely and accessed at will.
Sorry John. I should have read a little better. Should have knob better than to post before having coffee.
Hal
John,
If you do a Google Image search and limit the search to this forum you will find over 50,000 hits.
For example copy and paste this (without the "s):
"site:http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/"
into the Google search box, click search and click on images and you will get about 50,000 pics, all from this forum. Like this like:

In the original Google search string you can add some words in from of the search, for example for "wheels" do a Google search for:
wheels site:http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/
and get about 16 thousand hits from this site related to wheels.
Here is the "wheels" photo search result:

You can also search by name. For example if I do a search for:
Cassara site:http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/
and you will get results for threads that you at least posted in.
