Jay, you've opened my head, and exposed my dreams! Heaven with a wood floor.
C'mon forum boys, let's see if we can identify those nice play things. Is that a very nice veteran 4 cylinder FN shaft drive in the foreground?
Treadle lathe has been repowered from over head line shaft. To its right, a traveling head metal shaper.
I see three IN-CREDIBLE cars! And I can't identify any one of them. I have never gotten into motorcycles. But that four cylinder there? I could go for that!
It reminds me of my grandfathers shop from when I was really little. Yeah, I could live there for awhile.
Jay, That photo IS the stuff dreams are made of! Thank you for sharing again.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
The motorcycle certainly looks like an FN. Oil tank is the right shape and I'm sure I can see the shaft drive to the rear wheel. I wonder if they were a popular make in America. I know that they held a certain popularity in Oz and N.Z.
Boy I sure would like to hang out there for a while. Great photo.
Looks like another good painting subject for Rich
