Can someone tell me how to resize a photo for uploading? I'm an idiot so tell me in words I can understand!

I have Windows so I use the Paint program under the accessories folder. I open the appropriate photo with Paint and then select Image at the top. I then select Resize/Skew.

This opens up a window. Under the resize portion, you have to figure out what percentage you need to enter to make the photo the size you desire. I enter in 20 as the value for both horizontal and vertical. This makes a photo, for me, that fits well on the forum and is a small enough file size.

I'm sure there is a million other ways.. this is simply the one I use.

Darin

Thanks Darin, I'll try it!

That is the one I use. Right click, open with paint, stretch/skew. Depending upon the photo's source, I find reducing to about 30% usually works. If you reduce too much, simply say "no" to "save changes?" (after Xing out), then start over.
I am not a computer geek either.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
