The femail has a top on!
Looks like a very early Snowmobile version. Can anyone enlarge the rear wheels so I can see what there using for tracks, looks like just a enlarged set of chains.Picture of skies from my files.
Just starting project for a 1925-7 model Snow Bird assembly ( first years for them).

I helped with the restoration of that one
(Money and drawings). It has the later tracks on it. The picture you posted has very different tracks, I inquired to get close up pictures of its tracks and they have never followed through

I've talked to many of them over the past 30 years and sorry to say that some are gown now and there units have been sold. The picture above is a cross between a Snow Flyer and a Snowmobile , tracks and skies a Snow Flyer(could be Snow Bird) but the secondary axle assembly is Snowmobile.
Mr. Winkley,s son Bucky lives in Alaska and has a Snowmobile at Rainy Pass Lodge, N.W. of Anchorage and it had to be flown in ,No Roads.

I live to far to attend any of the Snowmobile meets, but I've been collecting information on all three Companies for over 30 years. I have a Snowmobile and will soon have A early Snow Bird.
I have a copy (on DVD) of the Snow Bird Advertisement film 20 min. in B/W. from 1930.
