Is there any other lubes or grease that can be used on an Anderson timer other than the "High Pressure Grease" that they reccomend?....Chip

I've always thought about using conductive silver grease or carbon grease. I've never been keen about greasing parts that are supposed to make an electrical contact. In the electronics/electrical world, that usually a good way to stop a switch from working!

I suspect the red Tractor Supply grease is actually Mobil grease.

Could be. I don't recall the name it was sold under. What I do remember is that a case of 10 tubes was the same price as 3 tubes sold individually, and I needed a tub too. So I bought the case and keep a tube out to use from like a tub. When it gets so low I can't reach the grease anymore, I cut the tube down. If you cut it straight, the plastic lid will fit back on no problem.

I also PACK MINE FULL of tractor supply greese and run them the entire T season with no other maintance. every spring , i clean them out and pack them full of fresh greese. i drive thousands of miles anderson timer problem free a season. i used the small tube on my first anderson timer years ago. i drove from upstate NY to dearborn to the henry ford (600 miles) and basically wore the clacker out. installed a new one and packed it full of greese and drove it home, and the rest of the next year without any problems. my yearly inspection of the timer and clacker show vertually no wear any more.just my experience.
