With everyone dressed up, including the kids, it must be Sunday. Think this happened Saturday night?

Whats interesting about that photo is I dont think the car went through the fence, The fence would had to have gone down with the car unless it jumped it. I think it ment it's death another way

Maybe someone has temporarily replaced the 2x4 rail by propping one end up.

Fred

I get it. But I could probably flood the forum with dozens of things just like this which add zero value to promoting the Model T or the Model T hobby.

More and more posts are just for fun, with no relevance to the hobby.

Based on this, I find fewer and fewer topics interesting compared to several years ago, and more and more fluff finding its way here just for the sake of posting. This isn't directed at anyone in particular, and I'm honestly not trying to pick a fight. On the contrary, I'm hoping this site drifts back to an interesting, educational site. This thread just doesn't promote that objective.

On the other hand, I'll bet this string becomes huge, while technical questions are met with 3-4 posts and the thread dies, so perhaps this really is what the readers want.

So, I guess I'll have to recant: I personally just don't get it.

Scott,
If you don't think a period picture of an early Model T is interesting, you are probably in the wrong hobby. I find the picture to be interesting and educational. It appears to be a '09 or '10 that came without head lamps, cowl lamps were maybe added later. I would guess the top was added later judging by the unusual way the rear curtain is attached directly to the rear seat back instead of to the buggy rail as would be standard. Without Kieths' effort to post the picture, I would never have seen it.

Thank you Kieth.

Randy, Scott wasn't referring to Keith's picture but to the original thread content.

This isn't the first thread of late where someone has complained of too many OT threads.
This isn't a business or a JOB.

If we can't have some fun we might as well be dead.
