is there a good source for plans for building a Model T pickup bed---say for a 26/27? Thanks,
This has been discussed before.

John,
In addition to the links above, if your e-mail address has not changed since my Jan 6, 2012 e-mail, you should be able to check in a few minutes and have several articles that appeared previously in the "Vintage Ford" magazine. One by Murray Fahnestock, another updating the Murray Fahnestock article, and another one on a slightly different plan.
The club allows us to share those for free to help promote the hobby etc. I'm 95% sure we have posted some of those in the past on the forum but it is quicker to e-mail them than to hunt them down.
They are for the 1909-1925 chassis but if you look at the Fun Projects chassis diagram for the 1909-1925 at: http://www.funprojects.com/pdf/FPIframe.pdf and compare that to the Wescott 1926-27 at: http://www.wescottsauto.com/Tech/FrameDiagram1926-27.pdf you should be able to modify them easily. Or perhaps someone else has already made the modifications and put the numbers on some plans?
If you don't see them soon -- please drop me a note. If anyone else would like a copy -- please send me an e-mail with "Send Wooden Pickup Plans" in the subject line (or send me a Private Message). Just click on my name and my e-mail is the third line down or PM is a little further down.

Jay -- thanks for posting it originally.

I restored and regenerated one set of plans thought to be extinct. These are the Cleveland Hardware ones. The original set had some poorly legible dimensions so I put the whole thing into CAD to figure out the missing dimensions for sure. I then regenerated the whole set to make new dimension text and drawings. They are up on Fun Projects web site if you need a copy.
