What happened to Clayton? I sure miss his progress reports on his 26' roadster build. It was one of more interesting topics on this forum.

Mike - He's around; check the thread entitled, "Model T Head Bolt Torque Specs...."

He just posted to that thread a little while ago today. He's like the rest of us Mike,...sometimes work, family stuff, and just "life" in general gets in the way, right? Ha,ha,....harold

He is probably resting his tired brain doing something a little easier like rocket science or brain surgery after engineering and making all those changes to the chassis of his flivver.
I also used to just log on to see his progress.
What about the guy building the one that had a black chassis and yellow trim? yellow stars at the center of the wheels.
He's not shown any reports in a long time.
it was interesting while it lasted.

I'm still alive and plowing ahead on the '26! :-)

Sadly, Harold is right....life, family and other things just get in the way. I have been making progress and was just working on a new update to my "topic" if you will (have so many threads on it).

..I was also doing allot of machine work and one can only take so many picture of steel chunks spinning on the lathe :-)

..Sorry I have been a little quiet.

Hey Aaron,

Whats the car count up to so far for the endurance run?

Tim, I got fed up and have not been involved in the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club or the Endurance Run for the last 3 years.
I have no idea.
I assume Tim is asking how many speedsters are registered for the annual 200 mile Endurance Run that is usually the 2nd Sunday of June.
This year it is June, 10th I suppose. It has always started and finished in San Jose or Santa Clara.
I suppose it will this year too.
I would guess this year would be about the 37th or 38 annual run.

But Clayton, There's worse things uploaded on you tube you could like to. In fact I don't think I've ever seen metal spinning's from a lathe or mill on you tube, You could be the FIRST!
