For those of you who desire the correct hose clamps for your T, Snyders has them in the Model A parts section. They are expensive too, but worth it to me. I hate crappy reproduction parts!

You can find them in the T section too. Part #T-3945-S. These have always been available from Snyder's since I first began purchasing from Snyder's in 1970 and I have always used this type on my T. Jim Patrick

the search function sucks at Snyder's web site (just like all the other full line vendors)
Nothing came when I searched T-3945-S in any combination or part thereof, so I found clamps by clicking the "Radiator" tab in the t parts section. These have A numbers, A-8261/87:
clamps
But the picture was named T3945S.. http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/1842
They're only $5.75 - can't be called expensive?
Ok, to the Model A secton then, there's the Authentic hose clamp set: http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/1843 A-8261/87-OR at $26.50 a set:
clamp 2

Ok, I'm glad I'm not searching parts for a 09 - $119.95 for a set of authentic clamps..

That's $5.75 a SET in Snyder's catalog. Less than a buck each.

Roger, sometimes if you are not successful in a parts number search, you need to either add or remove the dashes. Jim Patrick

Yes, that was for the non-origional set. Guess you would need to put them side by side to see the difference.

If you compare the pictures above carefully you can see the difference. Here are some side-by-side views.

On clamps with the round-head screws, I'd get rid of them and use the other screws. I hate how screwdrivers slip out of the round heads.

Those screws you want are called slotted fillister head machine screws. Go to www.mcmaster.com and type in "fillister head machine screws" in the search box to pull them up. You can get them in stainless steel, which may be best for this purpose, but you will have to buy more than what you need, but for much less than you could buy them for from a hardware store, if you could even find them. You can also do a search for square machine nuts while you're at it. Jim Patrick

The second set of pictures that Roger posted are the correct ones. I don't know why Don didn't put them in the Model T section too, but he isn't telling the truth when he says the cheap ones are just like Henry made them, and then turns around and says the $26.50 set is authentic, which they are. I would sure hate to be a newcomer with all those contradictions!
