Opening up a rear end that the chassis has been sitting in a garage for 20+ years and the garage has fallen down around it. I was told that it had all been rebuilt and the body was removed to re wood. The body parts were sand blasted at that time and stored at a different location and had rusted but salvageable. Still has babbit in it but will change to bronze, all looks good with little or no wear found but need to clean up everything. Never know what you will find but that is the fun with tinkering.

Yikes! Looks like the last diaper I changed... many years ago! Is that cup grease or gear lube with lots of water?
John...I was thinking of peanut butter when I read your post! Yuck!!
What ever it is in there it sure kept it from rusting.
Bob
Is that Thing helping you holding the front of the torque tube??
Dave, I think it's the ghost of Michael Jackson. Just the glove!!
I bought 2 rearends a few months ago for parts to put a Ruckstell together and they were both a little worse than this one. But with a few hours work and a lot of presure washing it all { Pardon the pun } Came out in the wash.
Hey Bob pretty nifty stand, how about some particulars and pictures. Thanks, Wes

Give me a few days and I'll do a drawing and post it. I don't like trying to get down to floor level to work,it seams that its harder to get up now days.

Bob, how about a you tube video showing us all the parts in that thing and how to put it back together again.

I haven't progressed to U Tube video yet. I have a hard time mastering all of my spelling and grammar errors. Hope to get help and post U Tube of it running this winter in the snow.
