I read today in the paper where a Canadian firm is going to start work in eastern Utah processing oil from the Bitumen Tar sands there. Looks to me like a good source for us for the Bitumen tar which so many of you speak so highly of as a repair material for all kinds of T ailments. Go Canadians !
Bill,
Let me know when it's available. I'd like to have a can or two in my tool box and garage. I've never used it, but everyone here sure talks highly of it. I wonder if it's messy.
Have a great day!

Maybe Ford will start painting cars with it, again?
How many of you fashion police (gotta' be as Ford built it) have new Gilsonite (Utah bitumen) on your own cars?

Ried Welch was the only one I remember experimenting with gilsonite and that's been a long time ago.
Why not a United States firm???? I love Canada but it seems that when something big happens in our country it is always some other country doing it.
Don't feel to badly Hal - Most of our "Canadian (Named) Oil Companies" have American head offices.
