Model T Ford Forum: Forum 2012: Do they make this part?

I have a set of disc wheels from a 30 chev,
I want to adapt these to ford "T" hubs,
from the "face" of the T hub to the center of the spokes is approximately 1/2 "
so I am thinking a 1/2 "thick adapter plate to maintain the same track as the T wheels
As the 6 bolt pattern is wider on the chev then the T I need to adapt the bolt pattern

I have one designed but id I can purchase one it would be easier

does anyone make these?

Why not re - drill a set of T hubs with the proper pattern? The Chev bolt pattern will fit in between the T pattern, and there is plenty of strength. Should not take more than a couple hours for any machinist.

Here is a posting where Stan Howe describes hoe he adopted a set of Chevy discs for T hubs: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/179374/206903.html?1303565191

If you can find Chev front spindles and hubs you can mount the Chev spindles to the T front axle.
That way you will not need any adapters, at least for the front.
For the rear you can drill the wheels to fit the T hubs.
I have a set on the front of my '26 T touring.

thanks guys,
I have been considering just drilling the hubs,
(I have lots)
but the chev bolt pattern is near to the outside edge on the T hubs, strength was my concern
(small drum type)
and I did have a concern with the 3 " center on the chev wheel,(machineing would fix this)
but you would still see the outside edge of the chev bolt pattern unless you make a cover plate
(as stan did)
I am wondering now about the "track", do they sit a little narrow ?
or does it have the same width?

(won't matter unless I use fenders)

I like how Stan has done his , does anyone know the final track width on his?

The T hub flanges are not quite strong enough to simply bolt the Jaxon disc wheels onto. A few cars connected to the SCVMTFC Endurance Runs have broken hubs from doing that. It was, however, a very common way to attach the discs back in the late '20s and early '30s.
Putting the discs on backwards makes the track close to correct. And they do look great done that way. The problem is that you cannot simply change a tire when they are that way.
If I were to try them outside in, I would cut/knock out the rivets and turn the felley around. That would look and work great!
The best adapters for them I ever saw were on my old gray race car.

Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
