Afterworking on the TT for 4 days, shes now running! Generator still charges, dident touch it.
Runs and starts on Mag. Replaced all the wireing. Horn works now. Trans was clean inside.
I did have to do a valve job,cut the valves and seats. Coils I had a set that I tuned for the best spark on the workbench, readjusted them when installed.Replaced the timmer with another used one..the com.rod was adjusted, and carb rebuilt.
On the NH carb kit...Where does the Felt go?
The truck starts with 1 revolution on choke, then she roars to life, flip to mag and she just purrs.
This is the First time in my life ive tried to start a T! I did manage to backup across the yard, and then went forward...Very Fun.

The felt is a packing felt that goes around the gas line inside the connecting nut.

Excellent! We need pictures, of course. The felt is packing for the fuel line connection.

Fred,

Congrads. Please post photos.

Felt is seal for fuel line. You may not need it depending on the type of fuel line you have.

Neil

Here she is,was parked in a barn in 1952 in Blackstone VA. The barn was tore down last month, the man forgot the sides for the truck were inside the barn. The glass in the windshields is plate glass, air holes and wavey.

Good for you and enjoy your ride.
