I know this is a t forum, but I know someone out there knows something about these. My best friend has a full chassis and body remnants of a 1917 oldsmobile model 37. Does anyone know where a fellow could scavenge parts for them, shop manuals, or some really good pictures? I am in negotiations to buy it, but this is going to be a massive challenge. Any tips, info, pictures would be greatly appreciated.

One of out local T club members has an '18 Olds.
I looked under it when the pan was off. It has only two main bearings!

Two bearings could be ball bearings. I know some early white truck engines had ball bearing mains.

I have heard of some early engines having ball or roller type main bearing, such as bantam americans, but I understand they were quite noisy and unreliable? Kind of excited about this project, it would make the perfect stable mate to my 23 pickup!!!!
