I thought I would give a little more info on my car that I recently got for anyone interested. I bought this car from the grandaughter of the original owner. A true 1 owner car. The original items on the car include sidecurtains, leather interior, front and rear floormats, speedometer, all four wheels that are in perfect shape, radiator and the firewall. The sheetmetal is in perfect condition as well. She also gave me over 30 pictures of the car from when it was purchased to present day. She also gave me original registrations from 1919 and 1921 that have the engine and body numbers on them that match the car.She also gave me the bank book of her grandfather with the purchase of the car with the date, dealer and price on it. Lots of other documentation also. I do have some questions about a couple items on it though. The horn is all brass even in all the old pictures. It doesn't ever look like it had paint on it. The coil box is metal but in one of the old picture it looks like it has a heinz style handle on it. I know Larry Smith knows a lot about these cars. I was wanting to know if anyone knows his number as I would like to talk to him about this car.

Jeff-
How fortunate you are to have not only the history of the car, but photos, registrations and the bank book too! What a treasure.

Please share some "then and now" photos.

I contacted the daughter of the second owner (who was a great nephew of the original) of my car. She shared with me family photographs of the car, as well as the first two owners. One of the photos was a tin type!

Ask away with your questions!

Keith

Sound like a great car, you are indeed fortunate! What is the serial number?

Every 1913 - 1915 horn I have ever seen is all brass. Every original picture shows all but the rim painted black in 1913 production.

Royce: That photo at the bottom is the car that Jarvis Erickson used to own, and wound up being restored by Otis Clinton in Seattle. I don't know where it is now.
