Can anyone tell me if Chaffins garage website has current pricing?

I'm guessing that one of the Chaffins can tell you, especially about whatever specific part(s) that you're interested in. The rest of us would be guessing. Try calling them, they usually answer the phone during normal business hours.

Thanks Eric, you answered my question. I noticed the website had not been updated since 2010 and didn't know if they were in business yet.

If I were a web-savvy T guy, I would approach them about site work in trade for parts. It's just not that tough.

I bought a gas tank from them several months ago and I believe the website price was off by $15 or so.
Didn't matter, they were the only one that had it in stock! :-)
Their price ended up being the same as everybody else's.

Great folk to deal with too. Even if you are half a world away.

I've ordered from them twice recently when all my eastern suppliers didn't have items in stock that I needed quickly. Outstanding!

Their web site does not completely load. I am unable to access their catalog, with the exception of the first few categories.

Their website is best viewed with Internet Explorer (IE) which I dislike. I am a Fire Fox guy because it is quicker than IE but I use IE for Chaffins and have always been happy with them, their prices and service.

I ordered a clutch spring from them - fast friendly service - the price was different, but thats ok -

Hey John A.
Thanks for the heads up on the IE bit, I too use foxfire as IE is the worst, it takes ten time as long to load, but I can access their whole catalogue there.
Best
Gus

The Chaffin's Garage web site work fine with Google Chrome. I also avoid IE but sometimes have to use when some sites don't work properly (not too often).

Chaffin's is a somewhat unique business. Dave and Glenn prefer to "touch" each customer directly... that means in person at their shop or over the phone.

This is one supplier whose integrity and support far outweighs their their price points (which have always been competitive in my experiences with them).

Since I've "learned" their business model, I buy from them exclusively. Their prices are good, their deliveries are great and their support is priceless.

Think "local hardware store not Orchard Supply" with these guys! -John

Sorry guys, our web site is out of date. Our web page person moved and I haven't had time to learn how to update it. Please call for current pricing. We love helping you and appreciate your business.

The only problem I've had with them is that when I call I get too much good advice and end up talking to Dave too much!!Then I end up ordering more than I had planned on. Then I end up having to work on the T when the parts arrive sooner than I expected and the lawn doesn't get mowed and the garage doesn't get cleaned.

April 2011 I had the great experience of visiting "Chaffins Garage" again. This was my second visit, the 1st being exactly 20 years earlier....and boy have things changed?
Glen is still as customer oriented as ever, and Dave? Well Dave could talk underwater with a mouth full of marbles....about any subject.
I'd travelled to LA to see an Aussie NASCAR driver, Marcos Ambrose do his thing at Fontana. Turns out Dave was there too and consequently we shared a great deal of banter about NASCAR as well as T's.
The most obvious change is that Glens business has outgrown his historic garage

and has now expanded into the house next door.

20 years ago Chaffins gave me excellent service, and they still do. They remain my preferred model T vendor.
Rob

Thank you Rob. It was nice to have you visit again. With 2600 Square Feet our new store is already getting crowded. Guess I'll have to buy the other house next door!
