The only way I could think to improve on that would be to have a newly-restored Model K in the lineup. :-)

Rob,

Mike beat me to it.
They need their "big brother" in the line up.

None the less all very nice cars. You should be proud to have them in your stable.

Larry

Very nice. I hope you are hoarding all the white tires you can find for those beauties since they are not making them anymore. I wanted a set of whites for my 13, but I have not found any yet that wouldn't cost my soul.

Rob,

They are looking great! And the weather (at least in this hemisphere) is inviting us all to get the Fords out. I enjoy the updates on the "K" -- fascinating.

Respectfully submitted,

As soon as the K is done every family member has their own car to drive on a tour!

Very nice family of Fords you have.

Thanks guys. I'm afraid they might take my "old car license" away after today. Drove the 09 to church today, and noticed it had loose steering, so looked (does that still count as preventative maintenance?) and saw the tie rod end was loose.

So, I "red lined" it, and jumped in the 13 to take kids to town and the pool. Later, I picked up our youngest, as I was leaving town, the car shuddered, and as we ground to a stop, I saw the left rear wheel roll on into the convenience store (harmlessly).

So, the local police gave me a ride home and I brought the Jack in, put the wheel back on (Buffalo wire wheels).

After this, I thought I should drive to a friends and have a "refreshment" and take a break. Driving home, I ran out of gas!

I know they are coming to take away my old car license now :-).

Oh well, another "old car" day.

Rob, had a similar day Saturday. Was our annual safety check so decided to take the 15 Couplelet.

It hasn't had much road time so I decided to drive. On the way over one of the front side light chimneys fell off. We went looking for it but too many ditches with tall grass so no luck there. Another member has found one for me that should work.

Then I had to get home for a surprise birthday party for my daughter and had to drive home in the rain! A couple of hours later would have been fine.

Then when I arrived home the car over heated while I got out to open the garage door and puked antifreeze all over the driveway. Another thing to check before we head to Nebraska!

Oh, I should mention we found a few cotter pins missing (Walt B) !!!! The scariest ones were the two rear hub nuts!!! Pays to safety check every year!

Chris,

Glad to hear your coming to Lincoln for the tour. I'll start a thread later this week to ask who on the forum is attending.
